Blooms – All Pink Penang Cafe with Pretty Drinks & Desserts

It’s probably fifty shades of pretty pink in Blooms.

From the fuchsia pink sign leading you up a flight of watermelon-pink stairs to a spacious cafe bathed in baby pink wall paints, princess seats and tables, this is the place you might just want to dress to fit the theme. Feel free to dip into the bubble pools for the gram. There’s no age limit.

There are the savoury food, desserts and drinks on the menu, with several eye-catching ones.

Don’t miss the Blooms Signature where you would be awestruck by its presentation. Drinks under this category include the Green Forest (blended with Yuri matcha powder), Pink Berry Diary (strawberry and blueberry base), Mango Tango (with peach) and Blue Moon (Blue Lagoon and Apple), all at RM18. 

I had the Green Forest which came with a sensuous smooch of Blooms cream on the surface, decorated with beautiful flowers and sprinkles of edible petals.

The matcha blend was thick and rich in flavour. This is pretty solid stuff.

Six kinds of dessert are available, such as the lava cakes, cream brulee and tiramisu.

Make this an all-pink experience by getting the Strawberry Panna Cotta RM14!

The plating was equally aesthetic with fresh strawberries. I am glad the panna cotta didn’t taste artificial. It’s smooth and firm.
