Brother Bird Soft Serve and Mochi Donut – List of Flavours
Call me a sadist but I will not disguise my love for these lovely ‘poop-looking’ ice cream. In fact I find them so adorable since day one, mesmerising to oggle at and assuming a split personality (different flavours) every now and then that simply makes me develop an undeniable lust for.
Brother Bird‘s twist of their soft serve is one-of-its-kind in Singapore. Who would have thought of placing ice cream swirls with fried mochi bursts/balls and donuts (though now they also have conventional waffles to go with it)?
The uniqueness of the mochi balls is that upon tearing them apart, you get a stream of fillings flowing out. Be it the rich salted egg yolk, intense chocolate or raspberry, you get a mixture of hot and icy, chewy and soft, sweet and savoury.
The soft serve flavours at Brother Bird seems to change at the snap of a finger. They have had countless flavours on rotation to date; and if you could keep returning every other week for their new flavours, you might want to call Brother Bird your second nest.
Here’s a list of what I have eaten:
Lotus Mooncake Soft Serve with Liu Sha Mochi Bursts
D24 Durian Soft Serve with Mochi Donut
Thai Green Milk Tea Mochi Donut
Tokyo Banana Soft Serve with Candied Walnut, Banana Crisp and Vanilla Sponge
Cookie Butter Soft Serve with Assorted Mochi Bursts
Wintermelon Soft Serve in a Cup
Earl Grey Milk Tea Soft Serve with Earl Grey and Milk Chocolate Mochi Bursts
