Burger King goes Local with Double Rendang Beef Burger & Hainanese Tendergrill Chicken Burger

Taking our local favourite food on a spun, Burger King brings together two popular sauces into their burger patties. Herein comes the Beef Rendang Burger and Hainanese Tendergrill Chicken Burger to spice up your palate a little more.

Give the Double Rendang Beef Burger a hearty bite where the flame-grilled beef patties were generously coated in the thick flavourful rendang sauce on all sides. Rings of fresh onions laid in between, giving an extra crunch. Dotted with sesame, the buns sandwiching the fillings were fluffy and soft. The combination was great and immensely satisfying.

You can even opt for the Tendergrill Chicken Thigh Patty instead of beef, together with the rendang sauce.

Another new burger is the Hainanese Tendergrill Chicken Burger layered with savoury ginger sauce, garlic chilli and lettuce. A rendition of the Hainanese Chicken Rice, this would bring nostalgic fond memories as you dug in.

Some must-order sides include Burger King’s Onion Rings and Chicken Fries.

I also had the Teh Tarik Pie $1, new for this season!

 

Overall it was rather enjoyable. I would probably try the Hainanese Tendergrill Burger next!
