Cheesy Crab Stick Omelette Rice Recipe
Crab sticks, or imitation crab meat, is a versatile ingredient that can be used in various dishes.
Today, instead of ham, I am using crab sticks to make a Cheesy Crab Stick Omelette on Rice.
It resembles the Taiwanese version of diced ham with scrambled eggs on rice.
Ingredients
4 Crabsticks
2 Eggs
1 cup of Cheese, shredded
Rice
Olive Oil
Seasoning (i.e. Black Pepper)
1. Prepare the rice first and leave it to cook.
2. Dice four crabsticks into 12 pieces.
3. In a bowl, crack two eggs and add cheese. Stir evenly.
4. Heat a pan with olive oil. Pan-fry the crabsticks at medium heat.
5. Add half a portion of the egg mixture over the crabsticks.
6. As the egg starts to cook, add the remaining egg mixture to the top.
7. While the egg is still runny on the surface, gently transfer the omelette over a bowl of rice.
8. Sprinkle seasoning.
Dig in immediately and enjoy the cheesy, soft and slightly runny texture of the omelette.
