Corona’s little brother, Coronita, debuts in Singapore with a margarita-inspired CoronaRita
Touted as the number one Mexican beer in the world, the Corona pleases with its pleasant gold colour and, crisp and refreshing flavour. Often served with a wedge of lime, it is what made the Corona an iconic drink.
While we are all familiar with Corona, the Coronita is no stranger, but a miniature version of Corona.
Instead of the existing 355ml, the Coronita is a smaller 210ml bottle of beer.
Interestingly, the Coronita is also given a remake into the CoronaRita. The margarita-inspired drink features an overturned Coronita Beer bottle draining into a margarita.
Making your CoronaRita at home is nothing difficult. If you are interested, the steps below might be helpful.
1. Salt the rim of a margarita glass.
2. Mix tequila, triple sec, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice.
3. Shake vigorously
4. Strain into a glass half-filled with ice
5. Invert the Coronita and garnish with a lime wedge.
