Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao’s $11.80 Weekday Lunch Set is a Steal!

Fans of Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao are in for a treat – from now till 29 June 2018, diners get to relish in a weekday set lunch comprising a choice of La Mian and half-portion appetiser.

The lunch set is an affordable, value-for-money treat for la mian lovers. With 12 la mian dishes and 10 appetisers on the menu, one would never run out of options for a comforting, filling meal!

Must try la mian mains include the Signature Szechuan Dan Dan La Mian (Peanut Sauce with Chilli Oil).

With a spicy broth-filled bowl that packs a feisty punch with every spoonful, this is definitely not one for the faint hearted. While the chilli oil did not produce too much of a tongue numbing effect, I did find myself turning to my Chilled Beancurd with Preserved Egg and Pork Floss appetiser (another signature) for that palate cooling sensation every time the heat took over.

The La Mian with Scallion Oil served with Dong Po Pork Belly, while not a signature item, is also worth savouring, especially with the pork belly yielded that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture! A half portion Drunken Chicken completed our two-person meal.
