Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao – New Dim Sum & Northern-Chinese Dishes
Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao has refreshed its ala carte menu once more, this time to include a mix of traditional and inventive dishes hailing from Northern-Chinese cuisine.
New to the menu are some delectable selections of dim sum, including Steamed Mustard Green Pork Bun and Salted Egg Yolk Pork Floss Pastry, both of which are served piping hot and yield a delightful, melt-in-your-mouth texture with every bite. Enjoy a burst of savoury richness that does not overwhelm when you tear into these enticing, sizeable dishes.
The Pan-Fried Chives Pancake with Egg, though simple in appearance, packs several layers of fried egg and chives that you can taste the moment you sink your teeth into the thin pastry.
Refresh your tastebuds with the Pork Collar with Szechuan Peppercorn and Preserved Vegetable Soup. The sour-spicy combination of the broth is further flavoured with a generous amount of preserved vegetable and garlic, while the pork collar is thinly sliced and cooked perfectly.
Add some sweetness to your meal by ordering some Steamed Chinese Mugwort Glutinous Balls, which are encased in lime mocha skin and shaped to resemble bite-sized limes.
Regulars will be glad to know they can still indulge cravings for their favourite Xiao Long Bao. The Chilli Crab and Black Truffle flavours present luxed up renditions of the classic white xiao long bao, with sweet and earthy notes present respectively. The Salted Egg Yolk is another hit that combines a local favourite with the iconic xiao long bao.
