Dazzling Cafe 蜜糖吐司專賣店 Singapore – Mermaid Honey Toast and Desserts in Orchard Gateway

Singapore has no shortage of cafes especially when it comes to desserts.

One of Taiwan’s famous cafe, Dazzling Cafe 蜜糖吐司專賣店, has opened in Singapore since 2015 at Capitol Piazza, followed by its second outlet at Orchard Gateway.

Dazzling Cafe is famous for their honey toast that comes in all sorts of variation. In Singapore, you can get flavours ranging from the Classic to Oreo Chocolate, Banana Chocolate or Strawberry Lover, to name a few.

Their waffles are signatures as well with your choice of Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate.

For a limited time only, the Mermaid Toast $16.90 will be making its appearance at the Orchard Gateway Outlet till 31st August 2017.

Step aside unicorn. Here comes the colourful Mermaid toast, probably the one and only in Singapore!

Featuring Dazzling Cafe’s famous toast with crispy edges, the top was generously enveloped in dollops of smooth luscious cream in pink and blue pastel hues. Macarons and strawberry ice cream were almost hidden underneath the pile before being garnished with more multi-coloured candies and sprinkles.

It looked almost dreamy and definitely worth a snap or two before you dug in.

Even the inside was filled with sliced blocks of colourful and lightly toasted bread. For someone like me who don’t fancy that much cream, I was surprised to have enjoyed this; lacing each bread piece with cream before popping it into my mouth. The Mermaid Toast could be a tad sweet so it’s best to share among friends.

The menu also offers a huge selection of Asian fusion dishes.

We had the Duck Confit Burger $19.90 that came with a slab of brie on top of shredded duck patty. It was an interesting combination though I would have loved the cheese to be more melted. The buns, on the other hand, was so light and airy that you wouldn’t feel so stuffed having. All in all, it was a pretty decent burger.

The interior of Dazzling Cafe looks chic and posh with comfy armchairs,  high ceilings and hanging chandeliers. Dining here would make you feel like princes and princesses in a castle.
