Denzy Gelato – Mochi Waffles and no-sugar-added Gelatos with prebiotic fibres

Denzy Gelato, a successful dessert cafe founded in 2019, now has a central kitchen that supplies over 50 gelato flavours to various businesses, including the Museum of Ice Cream Singapore. It also operates two physical outlets in Hougang and Bedok and has two co-branded locations with Huggs cafe chain.

The homegrown brand is the brainchild of couple Damien Yau and Hao Zhen, who are committed to churning quality gelato while catering to local tastebuds.

This season, new on the menu are the Mochi Waffle $7.90 (top up for a scoop of gelato from $3.60) and five no-sugar-added gelatos enhanced with prebiotic fibres.

The mochi waffle is an elevated version of Denzy Gelato’s signature Belgium waffle. The waffle has an amazing light crisp texture and is stuffed with soft, stretchy mochi. The filling is generous and chewy with each bite.

The portion also comes with a side of Kyoto matcha sauce. Made of matcha powder, Meiji milk and light whipped cream, the sauce lends a subtle sweetness and silky mouthfeel.

Adding to the existing gelato collection are five Asian-inspired, no-sugar-added flavours. They are Alphonso Mango Sorbet, Chrysanthemum Goji, Chocolate Delite, Black Sesame, and Hazelatte.
