Dine Inn Singapore – Savour Home-cooked Food And Bakes, For Dining And Delivery
Master Diner Hunt
Back in May 2017, I participated in the Master Diner Hunt organised by Dine Inn Singapore. With a grand prize of $2000 worth of home-cooked meals for the entire month of June, it naturally drew many curious and eager contestants.
Honestly prior this, I wasn’t that into ordering deliveries nor even dine in a stranger’s house. But a month of free food while saving money on my other meals, no harm trying right? Having heard how my friend has raved about the fruitful experience she had while dining in one of the host’s house, I was swept into tapping the enter button for the submission online.
(That said, I never knew that this opportunity will soon gain me insights/ interesting perspectives into various new things which I am glad for)
I was Shortlisted!?
And things simply sprung forward. I was shortlisted.
We had a mini gathering cum competition at Natasha’s (one of the host in Dine Inn) house where we savoured her delicious homemade lasagne and dessert tarts. Then we engaged in a series of tests on our ability to write, think on the spot and speak in a video. The results were released towards the end of May.
The Winner is…
Half of me was still in lala land when I received the great news from an early morning call.
Hey, I won something and my brain’s still asleep.
Yes, so I am currently the winner of Dine Inn’s Master Diner Hunt. The food hunt has started on 1st June 2017. I have started eating. It still feels unbelievable, yet thrilling and exciting on what comes next.
What’s Dine Inn?
If you don’t know what Dine Inn is and how it works, it is essentially a community platform where passionate home-cooks and bakers come together to showcase their culinary and baking abilities. And you can choose to dine at the host’s house or order deliveries from them.

The Food Hunt Begins
$2000 for the month of June really just dropped down from the sky. But hey, there’s a catch.
I will be fulfilling 20 dine in at host’s place and delivery orders from 20 different hosts. That means 20 kinds of meals, 20 dining experiences, 20 reviews, 20 strangers met, 20 friends made, 20kg gained (noooooo!).
Dine Inn Hosts
I will be updating my food adventures here periodically.
