Eco Christmas Fiesta with Snowfall at Civil Service Club Changi
With Christmas – and the end of 2017 round the corner, what better way to celebrate it than by kicking back and relaxing amid good food, or even some last minute shopping for a cause?
The Eco Christmas Fiesta returns to Civil Service Club Changi this weekend for a final three-day bonanza of food, hand-crafted goods, charity chef demos and more. Running during the weekends from 1st to 3rd and 8th to 10th December, don’t miss out the upcoming fun!
Visitors can expect Christmas themed festivities, from an edible terrarium workshop ($12), meet-and-greet with Santa Claus and Eco Bear (selected timings) and some incredible manmade snowfall (7.30pm and 8.30pm on Saturday and Sunday).
Get some last minute shopping done at the bazaar, where both local and international vendors are offering some sweet deals on food, clothes, and even kitchenware!
Notable stalls include Husk’sWare and Safe Sunday, both environmentally conscious enterprises, as well as THEO10, Chufala and Premium Local Products, which sell nutritional superfoods from far-flung regions like Spain, Greece, and Africa.
It isn’t all about eating and shopping till you drop though, as the Eco Christmas Fiesta has also partnered with The Art Faculty to showcase pieces by special needs students Jolie and Sheng Jie (the latter who rose to fame after a dinosaur-patterned pouch designed by him was spotted carried by PM Lee’s wife).
Make a donation of any amount of your choice to sample Christmas themed dishes by an award winning chef (selected timings)!
Foodies can delight in an array of hipster food fare, including Deng Deng Tacos, Pasta and Skewers, and more.
For those craving something more traditional, newcomer Carrot Cubes will be whipping up their homemade carrot cake (go for the bacon flavour if you dare)!
On the other hand, the renowned Ah Hua Kelong awaits to delight palates with freshly barbecued seafood in a unique farm to table experience.
And with the weather heating up yet again, why not quench your thirst with some refreshing, Instagram worthy coloured tea from KECha?
