Flaming Don, Bugis+ – New Ramen & Donburi with Squid Ink Rice

Flaming Don offers a wide range of donburi, topped with seafood, meat or vegetables over a bed of sushi rice. There are also alternatives like ramen and classic Japanese sides to go along with.

In August, Flaming Don unveils a new menu with additional donburi and squid ink rice that promises umami goodness. Savour this special creation when you dig into new seafood dishes such as the Aburi Semi Saba Don $11.90, Salmon Mentaiko Don $14.90, Tekka Don $14.90 and Kaisen Bara Chirashi Don $15.90. Lovers of sashimi would enjoy the fresh chunky sashimi crowned with kizami nori and spring onions.

Don’t miss the Gyuniku Cheese Don $9.90, where the cheesy web of sliced beef is bound to whet appetites. For those who need your meat with rice, the Buta Kakuni Don $11.90 and Nema Tama Buta Don $12.90 are favourite choices in the donburi family.

Vegetarians have the option of having the Bittergourd Don $9.90 and Kimuchi Tofu Don $9.90 too.

The newly introduced ramen selections comprise of the decadent Herbal Clam Ramen $15.90, Shoyu Crayfish Ramen $16.90 and Char Siew Sho Ramen $14.90.

The Herbal Clam Ramen comes recommended for its size and taste. Besides the generous portion of Hokkaido ramen, the clams are plump and juicy while the herbal pork broth is superbly rich and flavoursome, reminiscent of the bak kut teh.

Tuck into sides like the Kani Cream Croquette $5.90, Kaki Cream Croquette $5.90 and deep-fried Geso Karaage $5.90 that is crispy with a salt-peppery taste.

Flaming Don is one of the restaurants in Singapore to introduce self-ordering kiosk stations and self-return tray services, catering to a flexible and more cost-saving dining concept.
