Available from 13 January to 12 February 2025, indulge in Lunar New Year set menus and premium a la carte dishes comprising of Yu Sheng, suckling pig and lobster at Golden Peony.

Highlights include the Chilled Lobster Japanese Vermicelli in Soy Milk Lobster Broth topped with Oscietra Caviar $28 and Pumpkin Millet Rice Broth with Scallop Mousse $28, served in individual portions.

The former won my heart for its sweet umami taste intertwined with smooth noodle strands that signify longevity.

A culinary signature, the Lobster Combination $118 features lobsters done two ways.

Savour steamed lobster with silky egg white and glistening Oscietra Caviar and, stir-fried lobster with Chinese celery and black truffle shaving in a crispy shell.

The Steamed Red Grouper Fillet $198 presents a unique combination of succulent sliced fish with Jin Hua ham, carrot and mushroom. Served together with tasty kai lan, this is a feast to the eye and belly.

A masterpiece on its own, the Roasted Suckling Pig $588 impresses with soft chewy glutinous rice wrapped in crispy thin pig skin, elevated with whole abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw and a drizzle of sweet sauce.

Round off the meal with the Chilled Cream of Avocado Pudding $12. An adorable snake-shaped jelly takes centre stage, in a pool of avocado cream and zesty popping boba.

Festive savouries and gifts include Mahjong Praline Gift Set $52, Homemade Bak Kwa Cookies $40, Traditional Homemade Nian Gao $42 and Homemade Pineapple Pillow $42.
