Popular Taiwanese Hazukido Croissant Chain opens in Subang Jaya KL, Malaysia with 14 Assorted Flavours
Popular Taiwanese croissant chain, Hazukido 八月堂, has opened in Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Featuring a total of 14 different flavours plus a seasonal one, Hazukido’s croissants (RM5.5-11.3) are one-of-a-kind with inventive combinations and amazing taste.
Straight out from the oven, each croissant has that crispy, flakey and glossy surface that releases a satisfying crunch when you bite into it. The underlying folds are prominent when you see from the midsection – airy, buttery and not overly dry. If you get the croissants with fillings, the fillings are generous and really delicious.
The signature flavours consist of the Raspberry Panna Cotta, Earl Grey Milk Tea, Chocolate Custard and Apple. The Raspberry Panna Cotta is the must-try, where the filling is creamy, sweet and sourish. Instead of garlic bread, Hazukido offers the Garlic Croissant that has a strong garlic and parsley taste, of which I have enjoyed very much too.
Other options include the Black Sesame, Hazelnut Macaron, Golden Cheese, Custard, Okinawa Brown, Okinawa Brown Sugar Warabi Mochi, Milk Caramel, Honeycomb and Lemon Icing.
