House Of Samosas – Unique Samosa Fillings in MacPherson Road

House of Samosas is a samosa specialty restaurant situated along MacPherson Road. The samosas here are one of the best I have tried so far.

These fried pastry snacks are made in-house and served piping hot on the spot.

The staff is friendly, and there is no GST or service charge for dining in.

The menu offers samosas of 24 different fillings with interesting savoury and sweet options.

There are the Curried Mutton $2.60, Satay Chicken $4, Black Pepper Burger $4 and Nacho Cheese with Jalapeno $3.70, to name a few.

Some unique sweet filling samosas include Apple Crumble $4, Creme Brulee $3.70, Durian $4.50 and S’Mores $3.20.

The vegetarian choices look tempting as well.

I had the Butter Chicken $3, Curried Chicken $2.20, Quiche $2.90 (V) and Beetroot Feta $3.20 (V).

The samosas are huge (bigger than my palm).

The ingredient is filled to the brim and wrapped in a thin crispy pastry layer. It can get a little messy as it is quite flaky. It also doesn’t taste dry.

Moreover, the flavours are rich and nice, especially the vegetarian ones which are addictive.
