Lifestyle brand IUIGA’s first mooncake launch with a darker than black mooncake

Encased in each solid black mooncake box are four exquisite mooncakes in three unique flavours – Precious Black x 2, Pearl of Prosperity x 1 and Violet Moon x 1.

Each mooncake (weighing 180g) comes in festive embossment and is slotted into its respective designer packaging. Definitely perfect as gifts too!

The Pearl Of Prosperity mooncake features the Pandan-flavoured lotus seed paste surrounding a mung bean layer while a salted egg yolk sits in the middle.

True to its name, the Violet Moon mooncake resembles a moon where the violet comes from the yam paste. Other ingredients used include the low-sugar lotus seeds, salted egg yolk and mung bean flavoured with Himalayan salt.

What caught my eye is the Precious Black mooncake, in a shade of colour that’s darker than black. The skin is made from bamboo charcoal powder while the lotus seed filling contains chunky dried longan with wolfberry paste.
