Izy Fook 一起福 Mod-sin Restaurant-Bar with Roast Meats & Wagyu Truffle Don in Club Street
Izy Fook 一起福 is a revamped restaurant-bar from the previous IZY Dining + Bar that sits along 27 Club Street. The menu has also evolved from a focus on Japanese fare to mod-sin cuisine, served izakaya style.
At Izy Fook, you can find many re-interpretation of familiar Chinese dishes, some given a Japanese twist and vice versa. There is the Crispy Tofu $11 with chilli bean and yaki nori, Steamed Kulbara Barramundi ($20 for small, $38 for large) in sake, shallot and coriander, and the Superior Prawn Mee Pok ($16 for small, $24 for large) topped with fatty lap cheung and sakura ebi.

If you are here to chill and have a tipple or two, the Small Plates are recommended to get you started. There’s the signature Amber Jack Ceviche $18 dressed in spicy sauce, Cereal Soft Shell Prawns $24 and Salted Egg Chicken Wings $16 with Thai Chilli, all good for sharing.
The Steamed Clams in Dashi ($18 for small, $34 for large) is simply delicious with plump juicy clams in a clear, sweet broth, accentuated with the aromas of garlic chives.
Izy Fook’s signature Wagyu Truffle Don ($34 for small, $58 for large) appeals to the senses with the decadent black truffle shavings over wagyu strips, a slow-cooked egg and fluffy nanatsuboshi rice.
The roasted Char Siu and Roast Pork ($10-$75) are must-orders. The Char Siu, especially, is melt-in-the-mouth goodness with nice fat to meat ratio.
The meats are all roasted in-house and paired with Izy Fook’s three types of condiments.
Round off your meal with homemade desserts such as the Spiced Chocolate $10 and Hojicha Catalana $10 made of roasted green tea ice cream and burnt sugar.
