Ju Bao Xuan Mala Hotpot, Food Republic at Shaw House – Signature Seabass BBQ Fish Promotion
In celebration of its opening at Food Republic @ Shaw House, Ju Bao Xuan Mala Hotpot 聚宝轩 is running a promotion till 30 June 2023.
The Signature Seabass BBQ Fish is now priced at $13.80 (U.P. $19.80) and is available in three flavours – Super Spicy, Healthy Herbal and Sauerkraut.

I tried this twice during weekday lunch time.
The portion was generous. The fried fish was meaty and tender. I chose the highest spice level 大辣 and it was manageable for me. It could get quite numbing and salty – flavour is on the heavier side.
The accompanying ingredients were different for both times.
During my first visit, the fish came with broccoli, cabbage and enoki mushrooms. On my second visit, there were kelp, bok choy and cabbage.
It was nice to have different accompaniments each time.
The Lao Tan Pickled Vegetable Fish ($13.80 Small, $19.80 Large) comes in a huge serving, with tender fish slices in a sourish, salty soup base.
There are also Sichuan Spicy Chicken $13.80 and Mala/Garlic Crayfish $22.80 on the menu.
