Kenangan Coffee Singapore, Takashimaya – Indonesian Coffee with Unique Flavours

One of Indonesia’s largest coffee chain, Kenangan Coffee (known as Kopi Kenangan in Indonesia), has finally landed in Singapore, with outlets in Raffles City Shopping Centre, Changi Airport T2 and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

I first came across the brand in Kuala Lumpur last year and had their Kenangan Latte (from RM9.90).

This time, I went to the outlet at Takashimaya. The menu is slightly different from Malaysia’s.

The Singapore menu offers a range of coffee, ice blended, cold brew and a few non-coffee options, as well as various pastry puffs. There are interesting choices like Avocado Coffee (from $6.50), Ice Blended Salted Caramel Macchiato (from $6.90) and Fraise Cold Brew (from $6.50).

The signature Kenangan Latte (from $4.90) is pleasant in taste, lightly sweetened and rich in flavour.

It is made from a blend of espresso and Black Aren (a natural sweetener).

The Black Pepper Chicken Pie $6.20 is delicious, albeit oily.

The pastry is flaky and buttery, encasing a creamy filling of chicken bits and vegetables.
