Almost like a surprise, the anticipation in unboxing your Kizuna Box is real.
I received my October Kizuna Box, the Autumn season where fruits and produces like pumpkin, persimmons, apples and chestnuts are bountiful.
The Autumn Box reveals many treats from Nagano and Gifu, in the central part of Honshu Island.
First thing that caught my eye was the big cup of Triple Cheese Flavor Jagariko Potato Sticks. Resembling cheese fries but crispy and crunchy. Even the packaging scores points!
There was also the appealing bag of Fried Sweet Potato Sticks that came in chunky purple sweet potato dusted in sugar coating. Sweet!
I love the Pumpkin Tart which was soft, moist and slightly chewy.
As for the Persimmons, these were like jellies and not too sweet. It was recommended that they go best with tea too.
Another one I would love to get my hands on were the Ringo Otome Apple Cookies from Nagano!
My goodness, first bite in and I was sold. I didn’t expect to find a thin sliced apple within that was both refreshing and tangy against the sweetness of the cookie.
It is no wonder that this snack has maintained the 3-star Superior Taste Award for 9 consecutive years!
Kizuna Subscription Box is lovely and full of pretty stuff. It comes with a monthly subscription fee of $29.99 and you can pay by the month, every three months or six months. Shipping fee is fixed at $13 and Kizuna ships worldwide!
By the way, the Winter Holiday Box is up for subscription by 25th November 2017!
