Le Meridien Singapore, Sentosa, unveils restaurant’s New Menu, and Cocktails & Nibbles at The WoW bar
Latest Recipe and The WoW – World of Whisky bar at Le Meridien Singapore, Sentosa, unveils a brand new menu curated by Executive Sous Chef Leong and his team.
Have a sip of the effervescent cocktails such as the Trippy Orange, Sentosa Sling and Sentosa’s Southern Sea, at WoW, wonderfully paired with Asian-inspired Petit Plates of Crab Meat Croquettes with Singapore Chilli Crab, Chicken Satay Crepe with Peanut Sauce and Vegetable Samosa stuffed with Indian-spiced potatoes, vegetables and mint chutney, as well as the Signature Tartine, topped with crispy salted egg fish skin and prawn salad.
At Latest Recipe, dive right in for the Forest Mushroom Soup $15 served with garlic croutons. This definitely lives up to the chef’s recommendation for its rich, earthy taste of mushrooms. One of the best mushroom soups I have in a while.
Main courses comprise of all-day breakfasts, sandwiches and burgers to DIY pasta, hearty meats and seafood.
The 02-Way Beef $38 teases the tastebuds with a firm slab of grilled ribeye cooked medium rare and a tender cut of 60-degree slow-cooked brisket laid atop roasted garlic puree and soft baby carrots.
The meats are tasty on their own, especially the beef brisket which steals the limelight for us.
The Pan-fried Locally-farmed Barramundi $32 features a buttery, meaty fillet with crispy skin, accompanied with balsamic glaze, tomato relish and quinoa.
Other seafood options would be the classic Fish and Chips $22 and omega-3-rich Pan-Roasted Salmon $32.
For something close to home, there are the local-favourite Traditional Hainanese Chicken Rice $20, Singapore-style Bee Hoon $18 and Singapore Laksa $18, alongside Indian delights such as the Bombay Vegetable Biryani $20, Paneer Kali Mirch $20 and Butter Chicken $24.
The vegetable biryani appeals to the senses with the tasty portions of curry chicken, aromatic basmati rice, pickles and creamy-sourish raita. It is served with two pieces of roti prata and crispy papadam.
Complete the meal with a Warm Chocolate Lava Cake $12, served with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries on the side. Decadent and rich in chocolate, this is a treat you wouldn’t want to miss.
