Matcho Cafe – Pink food, Matcha & Chocolate drinks in Georgetown

Matcho Cafe is a beautifully furnished cafe along Noordin Street that opens till 10:30PM daily, except Tuesday. It’s the kind of place I would love to lounge in with a cup of matcha in hand while listening to the playlist unwind itself to Chinese mandopop.

Matcho Cafe probably got its name from its specialisation in Matcha and chocolate beverages. From the beautiful Rose Matcha Latte and Matcha Latte Float to Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Pink Macchiato, the combination sounds divine.

I had the Matcha Pink Macchiato RM15 that arrives with a promising double layer of rose cream on iced matcha latte. The cream was velvety smooth and thick, yet without overwhelming the rich taste of the matcha. Overall, it had a very good mouthfeel and gratifying satisfaction.

You can also opt for interesting options like the Iced Latte Coconut Float RM12 and Tiramisu Macchiato RM15.

Pair your drinks with some savoury food such as their signature Homemade Tom Yum Chicken Patties RM12, Cheesy Popcorn Chicken RM13, Matcha Lava Croissant RM10 and Scrambled Egg Croissant RM16.

Go pink with their desserts, for instance, the Pink Toast RM16 that had caught my eyeball and Rose Pancake RM19 doused in rose cream sauce.
