Maxi Mango – Famous Philippines Mango Soft Serve with Yam, Cheese, Coconut or Graham toppings

Maxi Mango is a popular soft serve brand from Davao, Phillippines, that specialises in mango soft serve and shakes. It started with a humble beginning as a pop-up kiosk in food fairs. Since then, it has evolved into an islandwide brand in the Phillippines, followed by the first flagship outlet in Singapore, in early August.

Opened on 2nd August 2019 at the Capitol Piazza, Maxi Mango takes the mango craze in Singapore a notch higher with its all-mango soft serve, that is further topped with real mango chunks. Made from fresh mangoes imported directly from the Philippines, fans of mangoes would find each cup a bliss to have.

We were also told by the staff that the sweetness level has been reduced by half as compared to that in the Philippines. Hence, there isn’t the jarring sweetness in the soft serve that would get too overwhelming. Instead, it is well-balanced, tasty and with a velvety smooth texture.

There is the Original Maxi Mango that comes with toppings like Graham, Keso (cheese), Ube (Yam), and Coconut. The 8oz goes at $4.90 while the 12oz is priced at $6.90 at an additional $2.

Only the shakes are available in 16oz at $6.90 each.

Exclusive to Singapore is the Mango Coconut where you get a mix of shredded juicy coconut from Davao, drizzles of homemade coconut syrup and mango chunks in a cup of creamy mango soft serve.

On the other hand, the Mango Ube has a layer of purple yam puree that gives it an earthy taste. It’s one of my favourites.

For something classic, go for the Mango Graham that comes with crushed graham crackers sprinkled on top and at the base too.
