McDonald’s Singapore CNY Twister Fries aka My Only Love

McDonald’s plays on my heartstrings every year with the annual return of the festive Twister Fries aka curly fries aka my only love.

Admittedly, I am not much of a McDonald’s eater. The only item I wait patiently for is the relaunch of the curly fries.

I can’t remember the first time I had curly fries. Nonetheless, I can have this several times weekly when it’s back in-store.

As a seasonal item, these beloved curly fries hit the stores only for a limited time. Indulging in curly fries is one of the happiest moments for me during the Chinese New Year period.

So what’s so special about these fries? These are elevated fries with a twist (pun intended). The thin crispy coating is enhanced with addictive seasoning, and wrapped around the right amount of soft potato.

Somehow during this time of the year, I would have an intense craving for curly fries. I once bought frozen curly fries to try in my air fryer. Much to my dismay, it tasted nothing like store-bought.

This year, McDonald’s Singapore has rolled out Sanrio-themed packaging and merchandise alongside the festive treats. Featured characters are Cinnamoroll and My Melody.

Also on the menu is the Pineapple Pie – hot flaky pastry stuffed with gooey tangy sweet pineapple filling.

This is quite nice too.
