Mischief (Esplanade) New Menu with American Burgers, Fusion Fries & Upside Down Cocktails
The night is always young at Mischief – a restaurant-bar at Esplanade where you can lounge in comfy sofas, bond over beer pong and have a friendly dart game with friends. Besides drinks selection that ranges from quirkily-named cocktails to liquors, wines and beers, the food menu boasts an American and South-East Asian fusion cuisine with bar grubs and mains.
There is no way we are skipping on the fries. The Atomic fries $14 melted our hearts with the gooey cheese sauce and sriracha mayo slathered over crispy thick-cut fries, then finished with sprinkles of spring onions, shimichi togarashi spices and okaka furikake seasoning.
The Truffle Fries Maximus $18, on the other hand, delights with its aromatic white truffle fries topped with thyme-seasoned mushrooms, grana padano cheese shavings and chopped chives.
Another interesting fries option is the Mentaiko Express $14, laced with mentaiko mayo, flying fish roe and wasabi oil.
The Buttered Clams $18 is highly recommended for its flavoursome broth infused with white wine, accompanied with fleshy half shell Korean flower clams.
For something to share, The Chicken Farm $48 is a massive platter filled with Buffalo wings, prawn paste chicken, cheesy popcorn chicken, nachos with salsa and guacamole.
Other mains include the Clams & Bacon Linguine, spicy Mamacita $20 and the Lovebird $20 stuffed with two deep-fried chicken thighs.
