Namu Bulgogi is a new Korean BBQ restaurant in Tampines 1 basement, offering a unique oakwood smoke-grilled experience.

The 2-in-1 Oakwood Smoke-grilled Chicken with Corn Cheese comprises boneless chicken thighs in original and gochujang flavours, paired with thick and creamy corn cheese sauce.
The meat has a smoky aroma with charred edges and the gochujang-flavoured one tastes slightly sweeter than its counterpart. The smokiness certainly ups the depth of the flavour.
The Oakwood Smoke-grilled Oxtail $23.90 (350g) is equally tantalising. Having been slow-cooked for eight hours, the meats are succulent while the fats melt in the mouth. There is a good meat-to-fat ratio. Its sweet flavour can be balanced with the hearty curry stew/dip served on the side.
Feel free to add a portion of Potato Quail Egg Jangjorim for $2.90.
Complete with Korean classic dishes such as the Tteokbokki with Homemade Kimari $12.90 (the kimari are fried to a crisp with chewy glass noodles), Haemul Pancake $12.90 (with spicy sweet dipping sauce) and Sundubu Jjigae (with Chicken $16.90 or Seafood $18.90). The seafood version brims with ingredients like prawns, clams, mussels, squid, enoki mushroom, tofu and egg. The stew is richly seasoned and not spicy.
Banchan, i.e. kimchi and pickled radish, is free-flow.
