One Pan Egg with Spinach and Cherry Tomatoes Recipe
Eggs in a pan is one of the easiest breakfast pans you can make at home! You can whip up a delicious meal in under 30 minutes with only a few ingredients.
It is a versatile dish that allows you to customise to your liking. There are various kinds, think shakshuka, eggs in purgatory, Turkish eggs, mushroom ragout with eggs and more. Give it a fusion twist and it could be something different too!
The pairing? Spread over or dip in your freshly toasted bread.
Here’s a simple and tasty One Pan Egg with Spinach and Cherry Tomatoes.
Ingredients
2 Toasts
1 cup of Cherry Tomatoes
1 bowl of Spinach
1 slice of Butter
2 Eggs
Garnishes (e.g. Parsley, Black Pepper, Chilli Flakes, White Sesame Seeds)
1. Heat a pan with butter. Toast two breads till golden brown and leave them aside.
2. Heat a pan with sesame oil. Add in cherry tomatoes. Once they start to wilt, add in spinach. Optional: Add some water if it gets too dry.
3. Make two divots and crack the eggs in respectively.
4. Garnish with your favourite seasonings.
