Ordinary Burgers, City Square Mall – CNY Mala Beef/Chicken Burger and Popcorn Chicken

Ordinary Burgers, a local fast food chain that has been operating since 2019, prides itself in quality, freshly made burgers. There are three outlets islandwide – One@KentRidge, Sun Plaza Mall, and City Square Mall).

The outlet at City Square Mall has seats for dining in.

From now till 11 March 2024, indulge in three new festive creations – Mala Beef/Chicken Burger and Popcorn Chicken.

Menu

The Mala Beef Burger ($9.30 A La Carte, $11.30 Combo) features hand-smashed Australian beef patty that’s infused with chilli. It is spicy on its own and further enhanced with the creamy mala sauce. Sandwiched together in between fluffy buns are juicy tomato and cabbage.

The Mala Chicken Burger ($8.40 A La Carte, $9.80 Combo) is also slathered in the creamy mala sauce. What stole the limelight is the chicken patty which is super crunchy on the outside and juicy within. The burger comes with tomato, lettuce and mayonnaise sauce.

Both burger portions are decent and ingredients are fresh (vegetables look really clean). I am impressed by the quality and taste.

The combo set includes a large order of fries or onion rings and a choice of drink. As they are cooked on the spot, the onions rings are served crispy hot and nice.

A new addition to the menu, the Popcorn Chicken $3.80 offers bite-sized happiness. Each piece is really meaty while the batter is thin.
