Pan-fried Crab Stick Ribbons Recipe

Using the leftover crab sticks in the fridge, I am making the Pan-fried Crab Stick Ribbons!

I came across this video online and found it interesting to cook crab sticks in this fun shape.

1. Cut the seaweed sheet into strips (about 8cm by 2cm).

2. Wrap each strip around two crab sticks. Optional to use two strips if one rips. Wet the edges for the strips to stick easily.

3. Use a fork and carefully shred the edges of the crab sticks (to resemble the sides of a bow)

4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to make five pieces.

5. In a bowl, crack two eggs and stir evenly.

6. Heat olive oil in a pan.

7. Dip each crab stick ribbon in the egg mixture and spread them across the pan. Pan-fry both sides at medium heat.

8. Arrange the crab stick ribbons on a plate and drizzle in your favourite sauce.

The texture is soft and squishy.

While the surface is crisp and eggy, the inside is moist and juicy.
