From 10 January to 8 February 2020, gather your loved ones for an auspicious reunion meal at Park Hotel Clarke Quay. Led by hotel’s banquet chef, James Wong, with four decades of culinary experience under his belt, the festive feast comprises of four set menus of six, seven, and eight courses, catering for up to groups of ten.

Welcome the Year of the Rat with these delectable treats available from their selected set menus.

Begin the year with the Auspicious Abundance Yu Sheng (add on $38 nett) crowned with pan-seared United States scallops and red caviar. The showstopper of this Yu Sheng lies in the crispy silver needle noodles, a twist from the traditional golden pillow. This savoury cracker is specially made from 老鼠粉 (lao shu fen) with a pun played on the Chinese word for rat.

Other highlights include the Steamed Red Garoupa with Yellow Bean Paste, Braised Baby Abalone with Chinese Mushroom, Sea Cucumber and Chinese Spinach, Steamed Chicken with Chinese Sausage, Lily Buds, Black and White Fungus, and Baked Prawn with 2-Style Potato Salad and Golden Almond Flakes.

The Tossed Egg Noodle with Crabmeat, Ham, Onsen Egg & Egg White stands out for its appetising presentation and absolutely comforting taste.

This dish is best savoured with all the ingredients mix together, where one can taste the soft eggy texture along with each strand of the noodle.
