Ramen Keisuke Lobster King: Lobster Ramen For Supper At Clarke Quay

The fact that Ramen Keisuke Lobster King opens till 5AM in the early morning makes it convenient for the nocturnal like me to hop over for my ramen fix. For those out partying in the vicinity till late, a hot pipping bowl of ramen will do so to satisfy your hunger pangs.

Ramen Keisuke Lobster King is the 10th outlet opened in Singapore by the Ramen Keisuke brand, whose founder is Keisuke Takeda-san. To create the robust broth, French rock lobsters are used. Together with other herbs and vegetables, the ingredients are left to simmer for six hours. The result is a rich and flavoursome broth that tend towards seafood rather than your usual pork bone broth.

The Lobster Broth Ramen (clear soup) starts at $13.90 while the rich soup version sells at $14.90. Fans of spiciness and rich creamy broth could go for the Spicy Miso Lobster Broth Ramen $15.90 that comes with pork belly slices, chicken char siew, dumplings, lobster balls, bamboo shoots and vegetables.

As usual, the flavoured eggs from Ramen Keisuke never fails to disappoint with their perfect molten center. The noodles are QQ and springy with character. Besides, the large amount of ingredients adds a uniqueness to the overall dish, unlike the typical ramen which consists of more noodles than ingredients. As for the broth, it is thick and creamy, which can get more intense and spicier as you reach the bottom. Suited my palate since I like my food strong in taste.

Ramen Keisuke Lobster King will definitely remain on my list. Well at least now I know where to go for supper after a late-night hangout.
