Reverse Affogato with Homemade Frozen Espresso

The classic affogato comprises hot espresso added to a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Give it a twist and it can be an interesting Reverse Affogato, where milk is poured over frozen espresso.

To prepare the frozen espresso, whisk equal parts of instant coffee, sugar and water together and freeze the mixture for a day. Alternatively, you can use any coffee-based ice cream/gelato for your drink creation.

1. Add two scoops of frozen espresso into a small cup.

2. Pour milk (of medium to hot temperature) over.

Give it a little stir and enjoy it straight from the cup!
