Taiwanese Breakfast Sandwich with Ham and Egg Recipe

This hearty Taiwanese-style sandwich will certainly fill you up and brighten your day. Comprising of the classic ham and omelette combination, and layered with fresh crunchy lettuce, juicy tomatoes and melty cheese, you are in for a treat!

Let’s get started on this Taiwanese Breakfast Sandwich with Ham and Egg recipe.

1. Coat a pan with olive oil and pan-fried two ham slices. Flip to ensure all sides are cooked. Once cooked, leave them aside.

2. Break two eggs and mix evenly. Pour the mixture into the pan. Optional: Season to taste.

3. Place two pieces of bread side by side, ensuring a gap in between.

4. Flip the two pieces of bread so that the other side is coated with the egg mixture as well.

5. Once the omelette turns form, flip in all four edges.

6. Layer one side of the toast with two lettuce pieces, two tomato slices, one ham slice and one cheese slice. Optional: Season to taste.

7. Flip the other toast over to form a sandwich. Optional: Cover with a lid for a minute for the cheese to melt.

8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 for another sandwich if needed.

You can further slice it in half for easy handling.
