Taste Butchery & Seafood Factory Outlet – Singapore Celebrity Charity Cook-off with Quality Ingredients at Factory Prices

Taste Butchery & Seafood Factory Outlet recently had a charity cook-off with celebrities, Li Nanxing and Christopher Lee, held on 4 September 2019. Titled Taste Singapore Star Charity Cook-Off, the event features quality produces offered by the supermarket at more competitive prices than outside.

The event is opened to the public where 100% of the proceeds from online ticket sales goes to charity.

Half of the amount will go to the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund to support 10,000 students from low-income families and another half will be for the Business Times Budding Artists Fund to make the arts accessible for financially-disadvantaged children and youths.

Using ingredients available from Taste Butchery & Seafood Factory Outlet, both celebrities prepared four dishes on the spot. There are Li Nanxing’s mum’s favourite Beef and Chicken Rendang 李南星妈妈的味道 (also selling at $19.90 per 300g), and Christopher Lee’s wife favourite Braised Pork 顺的味道 ($19.90 per 300g) and Pan-Fried Prawns. The smell was heavenly during the cooking session.

The above two highlighted celebrity dishes can be ordered three days in advance and the proceeds will go to charity too.

We were also lucky to spot other celebrities like Fann Wong, Constance Song, Mark Lee, DongFang Billy, Julie Tan and Wei Le at the event.

The event boasted an array of cooked dishes using supplies from the supermarket.
