Teafolia Imperial Lychee Drink Series with Concubine Smiles

With the heat in Singapore reaching scorching levels, it’s no wonder we’re in need of more refreshing, fruity drinks to rejuvenate ourselves.

Teafolia’s newest line-up was inspired by Yang Guifei, one of the legendary Four Beauties of ancient China whose love for lychees was well documented. Each drink features Concubine Smiles, a seasonal lychee that grows in Southern China.

The Imperial Lychee Drink Series consists of five different concoctions that range from fizzy to fruity. A must-try from this selection is the Lych-a-dream ($4.90), which is topped with a distinct pink layer from the use of dragonfruit purée.

Another noteworthy entry from this list is the Lychee Sparkle ($5.50), whose photogenic hues of light purple, yellow, and white make it a treat for both your eyes and your palate. While the former is indulgently sweet, the latter will perk you up with its zesty notes.

Both the Berry Lychee ($6.90) and Lychee Peachee ($5.80) offer you the best of both worlds, by combining two fruits in one drink. For something more citrusy, go for the Zesty Lychee ($5.90).

Available till 10 August, Teafolia’s Imperial Lychee Drink Series is already so popular that stocks are reaching low levels at their Bedok and Yishun outlets. Fret not though, as there will be new stocks of Concubine Smiles lychee come 25 July!
