Teochew Traditional Oyster Puff – Popular Snack Stall in Woodlands Pasar Malam
The popular snack stall, Teochew Traditional Oyster Puff, has appeared in Pasar Malam. And, I finally had my hands on these when it was at Woodlands Pasar Malam just recently. It was late that night and there wasn’t any queue. I was in luck!
During that time, there were four flavours available for the UFO-shaped meat puffs. I went for the Oyster and Mushroom ones, which the uncle then deftly made and deep-fried them on the spot.
The puffs were piping hot with a nice crispy crust. I liked that the texture of the interior of the puff is soft and airy. The minced pork in each puff was tasty and generous too. Additionally, the peanuts on top added an extra crunch to it.
Definitely worth every calories!
