The Food Factory Breakfast Buffet at Resorts World Genting, First World Plaza

Resorts World Genting has no lack of new food outlets. If you are looking for something affordable with a large variety or simply as a breakfast option, The Food Factory has got it covered.

Located on the 3rd Floor of First World Plaza, The Food Factory occupies a large area of 23,568 sq ft that could fit 1,300 diners. Kitchen is open-concept and one could easily spot the huge machines used to churn out large quantities of food to cater to the big crowds all at once.

We tried the breakfast at The Food Factory during our stay at the Theme Park Hotel, which was a short distance away from First World Plaza.

There are four different counters serving West Asian, East Asian and Western food, alongside a counter for pastries and breads as well. Breakfast starts from 6.00am to 11.00am daily at only RM 29.00 nett (adult) and RM 14.50 nett (child).

If you are wondering why is it named The Food Factory, you should really check out the giant pots and pans used to cook the food!

The restaurant is able to whip up huge amount of food such as the fried rice and even scrambled eggs too!

Here’s some interesting facts!

Eggs Frying machine: As one of the latest equipment lauded from Taiwan, this machine can churn out 20 fried eggs within one minute! Just in one day alone, a total of 2,250 fried egg or 85 trays of fried eggs can actually be produced!

Fried Noodles recipe: You will be amazed – 88 kg of boiled noodles, 10 kg of chicken slices, 16 kg of prawns, 150 eggs, 16 kg of Chinese cabbage, 10 kg of carrot Julliane, 5 kg of mushroom slices and 20 kg of beansprouts are needed to feed at least 2,000 people per day!

Pancake machine: This could probably make my entire year of supply for pancakes. In 30 minutes, you can get 200 pieces. If you are making for 2000 people, start mixing with 7.2 kg of flour, 13 eggs and 7.2 litres of milk!

The restaurant was really spacious and that made breakfast time seemed not as packed.

Other food included the usual breakfast items such as baked beans, sausages, noodles, dim sum, congee, curry, roti prata, cereal, pizzas and more.
