Truedan Singapore – New Brown Sugar Taro Milk at Orchard Gateway

Truedan, formerly known as Jenjudan, has opened a second outlet at Orchard Gateway (the first being at CityLink Mall) on 14 September 2019.

Following the opening is the new launch of the Brown Sugar Taro Milk $5.90, easily beating all the other Taro drinks out there.

The premium taro are hand-mashed and steamed in small batches over four hours until they become soft and smooth. They have the natural sweetness and silky taste to them which I absolutely enjoy. Each Brown Sugar Taro Milk comes with a generous portion of taro, layered with brown sugar, fresh milk and shaved ice. It feels like having a dessert altogether.

This is so good that I have been returning for more.

As part of the promotion, Truedan is giving away 800 limited edition Truedan tote bags with every purchase of the taro drink. We heard that the Orchard Gateway outlet has given out all the tote bags. It will be while stocks last at the CityLink Mall outlet.

Other Truedan highlights are the Thai Milk Tea $4.30, Oreo Brown Sugar Boba Milk $5.90, Earl Grey Tea with Milk Foam $4.90 and Matcha Green Tea $4.90 (also my favourite!).

For fans of chewy stuffs in your drinks, you might want to try the Passionfruit Green Tea with Nata de Coco & Brown Sugar Boba $5.90. It’s a tall drink filled with lots of nata de coco and pearls! Taste-wise, it’s on the sourish yet refreshing side.
