Wine Pinnacle Awards and The GREAT Wine & Dine Festival 2019 at Resorts World Sentosa
We celebrated the weekends attending the inaugural Wine Pinnacle Awards and The GREAT Wine & Dine Festival held in the West Ballroom of Resorts World Sentosa.
Occurring between 10-12 October 2019, The GREAT Wine & Dine Festival is every wine and sake lovers’ and foodie’s dream in discovering over 400 labels while indulging in exquisite dishes prepared by celebrity chef restaurants.
Tickets’ prices range between $42-60 with special promotions for MasterCard holders / RWS members) online at www.thegreatfestival.sg!
The event has partnered with the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association to feature eight sake breweries from the Akita Prefecture and Yamagata Prefecture.
Wine samplings are available at all the vendors and interested parties can made purchases over the counter at a promotional rate.
Some companies showcased include Angra Wine & Spirit, Bottles & Bottles, Enoteca, Icon Wines, Luigi’s Wine and 1855 The Bottle Shop.
Keen to understand more, there are masterclasses to sign up for which are covered by top wine critics, sommeliers and more.
Meanwhile, we pampered our tastebuds with dishes from RWS celebrity restaurants.
Some dishes we tried comprised of the creamy slab of Foie Gras from Michelin-starred table65, Porchetta in Marsala Sauce and Truffle Oil from Fratelli Trattoria, Steak Sandwich and a heart-throb Amazing Frozen ‘Gold’ dessert from Teppan by Chef Yonemura.
The L.A. popular lobster joint pop-up, Lobsterdamus, was a memorable one where we feasted on Half Grilled Lobster, Lobster Nest (with garlic noodles) and Lobster Truffle Fries.
