This budget-friendly, ready-to-cook Chongqing-style grilled fish by Yocorn is a godsend. Available in Scarlett Supermarket at $13.80, each pack comprises 500g of roasted whole catfish and 150g of seasoning sauce.
The Yocorn Roasted Fish has two flavours: Spicy and Vine Pepper.
Once thawed, the fish is ready to be cooked. I added some other ingredients like vegetables and scallops.
The amount of sauce is sufficient for one portion. Taste-wise, it is not as spicy as expected but acceptable. I would elevate the taste with richer seasoning next time.
The fish is quite meaty and tender.
Overall, it is a simple and quick meal that can be served within half an hour.
