Zhup Zhup by One Prawn & Co – Lobster Paofan, Prawn Noodles and Ngoh Hiang

One Prawn & Co, a Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient in 2022 and 2023, has welcomed the start of the year with a new name and branding – Zhup Zhup by One Prawn & Co.

With a focus on local comfort food, savour Chef Gwyneth and her team’s culinary delights, which include the signature prawn noodle soup and ngoh hiang.

The specialty prawn broth draws crowds for its rich, umami and addictive flavour. The process is a labour-intensive preparation where 18KG of prawns heads and 30KG of pork bones are boiled for over 20 hours to achieve the taste and texture.

The menu offers Lobster Paofan $58, Prawn Noodles (from $14), Ngoh Hiang Platter ($8.50 Tasting Portion, $13.50 Full Portion) and Claypot Hokkien Mee $14.

The Lobster Paofan elevates the meal with a whole spiny lobster poached in the signature prawn broth. It is also served with a generous portion of soaked rice, four big prawns and eight clams. The seafood is cooked to perfection – fresh and succulent.

Available toppings include Lala $8, Tobiko Prawn Balls $8, Shabu Shabu Sliced Pork $8 and Pork Lard $2. The additional order of lala is served in the lip-smacking prawn broth too.

The Har Cheong Gai $9 is nicely fried and equally tasty.
