Bamboo Tea 竹林烟雨, JB Mount Austin – Panda-themed Bubble Tea Shop with Bamboo Cups

Bamboo Tea 竹林烟雨 is a panda-themed bubble tea shop in Mount Austin, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, specialising in low-calorie and low-sugar beverages and treats.

Be surrounded by bamboo trees and panda plushies while lounging around.

Interestingly, the signature drinks are served in these huge bamboo cups which makes for a unique experience. There are also cream puffs and towel rolls in assorted flavours to accompany the drinks.

The Bamboo Milk Tea RM19.80 is available in five variants, including the recommended Snow Capped Peach Blossoms Bloom and Snow Capped Biluochun. 

The matcha-infused Bamboo Colored Misty Rain tasted smooth and creamy and is easy on the palate. It is not very sweet and comes with dried strawberry bits atop a swirl of fluffy cream. 

The bamboo cup is quite heavy and thick. Additionally, you can also bring it home. Mine has been transformed into a pot for plants!
