Beef Bro’s Flame-grilled Mentaiko Beef Cubes & Seafood Platter at Tampines, Century Square

After making its sizzling debut at the 2018 Geylang Serai Bazaar, Beef Bro has found a permanent home in the basement of Century Square in Tampines. Fronted by Mediacorp actor Danial Ashriq, Beef Bro is a takeaway kiosk that specialises in flame-grilled beef, seafood, and bento boxes for diners in the east.

The main claim to fame are the Mentaiko Beef Cubes ($14.90), which features Australian premium rump sizzled to perfection before your eyes, before being doused with an insanely generous layer of spiced cod roe, otherwise known as mentaiko, and topped with seaweed. Add-ons, including scrambled egg, cheese, and more mentaiko, are also available at $2.00 each.

The beef cubes were perfectly seasoned, with the mentaiko adding a rich layer of spice to the meat. You can even savour the umami flavour bursting on your tastebuds with every bite. Best eaten piping hot!

For something of more substantial proportions, go for the Bento ($10 – $16), which includes Japanese or brown rice, sweet corn, salad, and cherry tomatoes along with your protein of choice.

Seafood is also available, and you can choose from baby squid ($6.90), shrimps ($8.90) and/or scallops ($9.90). The Seafood Platter, which boasts all three in one mouthwatering box, is now going for $10 – so, don’t wait!

While the platters are pretty flavourful on their own, diners can up their flame-grilled experience with four types of sauces: garlic chilli, black pepper, barbecue, and sambal belachan.
