Cluny Food Court by Les Amis Group, Singapore Botanic Gardens – Smoky BBQ Meats, Wanton Mee, Chilli Padi-infused Pizza & more

Opened by Les Amis Group on 1 November 2021, the multi-concept 47-seater Cluny Food Court is nestled within Singapore Botanic Gardens, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Explore the five stalls located here – Mui Kee Express, S’Mao Barbecue, Piccante Pronto, Laifaba Express and Project Penyek by Ansar, as well as a drink stall which offers a range of beverages and local dishes.

Highlights include:

Piccante Pronto – The sister restaurant of Peperoni Pizzeria, a muslim chef oversees the kitchen here. Look forward to Roman-style thin-crust pizzas, baked pastas and other Italian delights. Spice up your tongue with the Suprema Pizza ($12.50 for Medium 9”, $17.50 for Large 12” and $48 for XXL 21”) that comes with chicken sausage, shiitake mushrooms, onions and lots of chili padi.

S’Mao Barbecue – All in Plate $24 – Only served during dinner, bite into smoky, fork-tender bone-in pork ribs, honeyed pork belly and pulled pork, paired with mixed pickles, homemade coleslaw and a choice of S’mao BBQ or Carolina Gold sauce.

Laifaba Express – The popular Signature BJT Char Siew & Wanton Noodles $8 is a visually appetising bowl of QQ (bouncy) noodles tossed in a secret sauce. Toppings consist of wood-fired char siew, wantons (fried and non-fried) and crunchy Hong Kong kai lan. Meat platters comprising of roast pork, roast duck and/or soy sauce chicken are available too.

Project Penyek by Ansar – Following its flagship outlet at ABC Brickworks Market and Food Centre, the second outlet here offers the famed Nasi Ayam Penyet $6.50, Nasi Ikan Penyet $7.50 and a Seafood Platter ($69.90 for full portion, 4-5pax, $35 for half-portion, 2 pax) accompanied with their homemade spicy sauces.

Mui Kee Express – With a legacy dating back to 1979, the third generation is now helming the brand, offering all-time classic favourites like Garoupa Belly Congee $13.80, Claypot Frog Leg with Ginger & Spring Onion $22 and Pork Liver with Ginger & Spring Onion $15.
