Oriole Coffee + Bar – New 7 Cheese Pizza & American Seafood Menu with Snapper Pie and Shrimp Po’boy

Oriole Coffee + Bar celebrates its 14th year of operation this year and continues to shine with its appetising range of food and drinks.

The new year presents a revamped menu which includes six unique dishes from hearty mains to classic highlights.

Begin with the Shrimp-paste Marinated Chicken Wing $16 (Add $1.90 for Bali Rub or Butter Sriracha) which would go really well with a beer or two.

Relish in the thin-crust 7 Cheese Pizza $20 and umami Rocket and Egg Pizza $20. The former presents a delightful, stretchy combination of cheeses (gouda, mozzarella, Monterey Jack, two kinds of cheddar, Grana Padano and Provolone) slathered over tangy housemade tomato sauce on a thin pizza base.

Oriole brings out its innovative side with the Popcorn Pancake $18. Bite into fluffy buttermilk pancakes and be rewarded with a mouthful of smooth whipped cream, tangy berries, sweet popcorn and salted caramel sauce.

Also, back on the menu is the Baked Tiger Prawns $28, an Argentina dish featuring crunchy tiger prawns and chorizo doused in tantalising chimichurri sauce. Made of chopped garlic, shallots, red chilli and melted butter, the delicious addictive sauce is worth all the calories and best paired with the toasty sourdough served on the side.

Available only from 1 March to 31 May 2022, Oriole presents its Oh Snap, It’s Back! seasonal menu with three American seafood favourites.

The sumptuous Snapper Pie $32 is perfect for sharing. The dish comes covered in a buttery, flaky pastry embossed with a hand-carved fish pattern (what a surprise!). Beneath the layer lies a whole pan-seared snapper fish that’s fork-tender and accompanied with flavourful white sauce, wild mushrooms, asparagus and truffle oil.

Presenting two traditional sandwiches from Louisiana – Firecracker Crab Po’boy $18 and Firecracker Shrimp Po’boy $20, both seafood buns come brimming with crispy battered crab or prawn, richly seasoned in Cajun spices and earthy American mustard drizzle.
