Celebrate the season with Conrad Singapore Marina Bay‘s quarterly afternoon tea series. From 19 May to 31 July 2025, indulge in the exquisite La Vanilla Afternoon Tea at Lobby Lounge, featuring vanilla-themed savouries and sweets.

Curated by Executive Pastry Chef Richard Chew, vanilla takes centre-stage in this refreshed menu, where its delicate flavour and aroma are celebrated through each thoughtfully crafted treat.

The afternoon tea begins with the Madagascar Vanilla, a non-alcoholic welcome drink that is pleasant and rejuvenating.

Amongst the savouries served on a tiered stand are the Tempura Mushrooms & Vanilla Essence, Truffle Egg & Vanilla Brioche, and dainty Seared Scallop & Vanilla Elixir.

Each piece is a feast to the eyes and belly.

The Parisian Ham & Comté with Vanilla Butter, especially, is interestingly layered, offering a harmonious blend of savoury cured ham, aged cheese, and hints of vanilla butter.

For desserts, there is the intriguing The Vanilla Pod, an elongated treat encased in dark chocolate, revealing layers of vanilla-infused delights.

Another favourite is the exquisite-looking Vanilla Orchard, featuring a crisp coconut sable base, topped with rich vanilla hazelnut mousse and soft banana compote.

Equally tempting are the Vanilla Peach Tart, and Matcha Vanilla Sonata.

At the heart of every afternoon tea are the scones.

Here, enjoy two types of homemade scones – Vanilla Plain Scone, and Raisin Scone, both of which are crumbly and buttery. Paired with the quintessential in-house strawberry jam, and clotted cream, this perfectly sums up the afternoon tea experience.
