Creamery Boutique Ice Creams Sakura Rose Lava Cookie with Wasabi-Tofu & Black Sesame Ice Cream

This Sakura season, Creamery Boutique Ice Creams launches the Sakura Rose Lava Cookie $8.90, Wafu Ice Cream $3.80, Baa Baa Black Seed Ice Cream $3.80 and the bubbly Peach Blossom Soda $5.90, to be available till 30 June 2019.

Bask in the pink hues of the lava cookie fillings accompanied by Japan-inspired ice cream creations.

Aptly named the Baa Baa Black Seed Ice Cream, the speckled Black Sesame ice cream is creamily earthy and smooth. Down it plonked onto the chubby piece of cookie which cracked on its side and out gushed a lava of white chocolate cum rose syrup sauce.

The Sakura Rose Lava Cookie was doughy, chewy and slightly crumbly, without overpowering the sweet sticky puddle that quickly surrounded the pan.

For the adventurous, go for the Wafu Ice Cream which is a mix of wasabi and tofu. The wasabi tickled my nostril easily. I love the tofu element; if only there’s a pure tofu ice cream.

There are several other ice cream creations worth trying out if you haven’t. The dark My Chocolate ice cream was sinfully rich and satisfying. It’s almost like eating a brownie when paired with the cookie.

Hot weather calls for the Peach Blossom Soda a seasonal drink that’s frizzy with chunky white peaches at the base. If you are observant, you would see that the ice cube actually holds a dried sakura flower within! Amazing.
