Dine Inn Makan-tastic Food Event at Pek Kio CC; By Esso LPG and Dine Inn

Coined as Makan-tastic, this Community Dine Inn Event is a joint collaboration between Esso LPG and Dine Inn. Makan-tastic is a platform that gathers the Dine Inn hosts together to share their homemade dishes, house recipes, savoury food and desserts creations.

Through Makan-tastic, the public can attend the event and savour the different types of cuisine cooked by the various Dine Inn hosts.

Each public member, upon signing up, will receive food coupons that can be redeemed at each booth.

During this year’s National Day, Makan-tastic was held in full-blast at Pek Kio Community Centre from 8:30AM to 12:30PM. People from all walks of life attended this event, dressed in a sea of red and white. The whole place was basked in a festive mood; a great way to start the day all vibrant and happy.

20 Dine Inn Hosts were involved in the event, serving three of their speciality dishes. Their full-time jobs may range from businessman, consultant to director and professionals. But that does not deter them from pursuing a collective passion, i.e. baking and/or cooking.
