Food Junction at Junction 8 has reopened with a refreshing interior and vibe.

Sporting an 80s-inspired retro diner concept and a quaint Japanese Food Street tucked in a corner, Food Junction now boasts 26 enticing food stalls.

Highlights include mini shabu hot pot at Shabu Bar, authentic Korean delicacies at Myung Ga II Minipress, and handmade Shandong dumplings at the popular Zhang Ji Yun Jiao.

The charming corner, styled after a Japanese alleyway aesthetic, houses a mix of Japanese and Korean food stalls.

Myung Ga II Minipress

A spinoff of its sister restaurant Myung Ga II, Myung Ga II Minipress serves up equally delicious Korean food at a more accessible price.

Korean stews of this quality are hard to find in a food court, yet this one here is impressive enough for a return visit. Prices start from $12.90 for the stew, with options like soft tofu, soybean paste, and kimchi.

The Tuna Kimchi Jjiigae $14.90 brims with ingredients. There are lots of kimchi, tuna chunks, and onions. The stew is rich and flavourful.
