Galaxy Tea Bar 星空撞奶铺 – White Rabbit Bubble Milk Tea & Bubble Tea Hot Pot in Penang

It’s a dream come true when our childhood White Rabbit candies get transformed into bubble milk tea! And that’s not it, you can even have bubble milk tea hot pot here in Galaxy Tea Bar.

With a sign ‘ Open’ pasted across the white-washed door, there’s no clear indication of this cafe, conveniently hidden away from prying eyes. It took me a few extra steps up and down the lane before finding the place.

The front of the cafe is very much dimly lit as if I have stepped into the night sky itself. Most of the people are seated here while orders are taken at the back where it is shrouded in hues of purplish-blue.

Galaxy Tea Bar sells a range of bubble tea such as the popular Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea RM 12.50 alongside interesting ones like the Sweet Potato with Taro Milk RM13.90, Purple Potato Milk RM12.90 and Charcoal Milk Tea RM8.90.

Ask for the White Rabbit Bubble Milk Tea RM12.90 which comes with golden pearls and fresh milk swirled in melted white rabbit candy!

I am a huge fan of the White Rabbit candy, and this bubble tea totally tasted just like it!!

The sweetness mainly comes from the candy and it’s like having an entire cup of candy for yourself. I thought it might be too overwhelming after a few tastes but no… It’s surprisingly thirst-quenching and equally satisfying. Just forget the calories and enjoy it in the super hot weather.

Try the Bubble Milk Tea Hot Pot RM29.90 if you have stomach for more too. There’s even the dry ice effect, perfect for the gram! Interesting isn’t it.
